“The bad news is: time flies, the good news is: you’re the pilot”. It’s crazy to think we have come to the end of yet another month, it’s definitely true that as you get older, time passes you by so quickly. I’m a little late to the party but I’m now starting up my monthly favourite series.
Today’s society love a good selfie. We’re always snapping away to show off who we’re with, where we are, our new hair cut, new lipstick, new clothes, you name it… it calls for a selfie. But selfies also call for the awful lighting and awful ‘double chin’ angles. Cotton Bag Co. have kitted out a perfect resolution – HALLELUJAH!
There’s always them people who go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy, make sure you’re cared for, have everything you need and continually support you. Whether they’re a parent, sibling, grandparent, significant other or a friend, there’s nothing sweeter than showing how much you appreciate them in return. But how?
Sometimes we just want to show people how much we appreciate them, little gestures such as flowers and chocolates go a long way. It’s so odd that people have such varied likes and dislikes, it’s so annoying when you hate something that everyone absolutely loves. Means you can’t fully enjoy going on cute coffee dates or trips to Yo Sushi without having to be the awkward one asking for something different.

There’s no one meaning for success—success is what you want it to be.

Last Summer I ticked Rome off my ever long list of places to travel. Despite only going for a short 4 day break it was long enough to soak up the scenery, burn in the sweltering sun and pile on the pounds due to excess pizza consumption.
With the rise of social media we’re disregarding traditional media. Rather than reading a book before we sleep, we read social media. Rather than talking about books to our friends, we talk about the latest Facebook gossip. Brandon Lawson has cleverly combined contemporary and traditional media into one book of poetry ‘Hashtag This’.

We read blogs and invest ourselves in the lives of other people, but we don’t always actually know who the person behind the screen is. Unless you’ve been on my ‘contact‘ page, you may not know who I am. Katy from Katy’s Travel Hints and Tips nominated me to take part in The Bloscar Awards and I thought I’d take this opportunity to answer some questions so you can get to know me a little more.
